Biography
Paul Stringer is a seasoned clinical research professional with over 18 years of experience, progressing from a study coordinator to his current position as the department鈥檚 Research Protocol Manager. In his previous roles, he effectively managed research in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery, Kidney & Liver Transplant Surgery, and Neuroscience: Memory Disorders. Beyond academic medicine, Paul has extensive experience overseeing research in community clinics, private medical offices, and several prominent Contract Research Organizations (CROs). Currently spearheading Dr. Bush鈥檚 lab, Paul coordinates research operations and serves as the primary contact for the department. A dynamic leader, he skillfully guides the team through operational challenges while ensuring compliance with institutional regulatory frameworks. Paul's unwavering commitment to excellence and expertise in clinical trials, academic research, and data management make him an asset to the Research Lab鈥檚 mission in advancing Hearing Health & Health Equity here in Kentucky. Married with two daughters at home and a son who is fourth-generation active-duty Marine. Paul finds fulfillment in engaging in mission work abroad, watching his girls play golf, and actively sharing his passion for Taekwondo with his daughters.
